32 imagesAfter reading Simon McCleave’s series of books about the Snowdonia killings (18 books), I decided to travel to the North of Wales. It wasn’t because of the killings, but because of the long and eloquent descriptions of the magnificent landscapes of Snowdonia, which served as background for the stories in all the books. I started researching the trip at the end of April 2023. In three months, I had a meticulous plan with more than 30 shooting locations. Each location with exact coordinates, preferable time of day for the correct direction and position of the sun and all other necessary information. On August 28th I flew to Birmingham and continued by car to Careau Gardens, where I stayed in the Pigsty – an Airbnb, hosted by Toby and Stephanie (see last pictures). I returned home on September 9. Here you can see some of the beautiful shots I took there.
